Responsible Use of Pesticides and Container Management
Stewardship is one of the key engagements for SeedWorks Supply Chain, our waste management initiatives aim to impart grass-root training to the farming community on responsible usage, secure storage and container management. These training programmes are initiated in our seed production clusters of Gujarat. Our initiative aims to create awareness among farmers, farm families, of crop protection products on the responsible use of crop protection products and safe disposal of empty crop protection containers
@Seedworks as we are engaged in the business of agriculture where the usage of crop protection products is requisite. We believe it is our responsibility to drive safety in all the areas we operate. Our pledge goes: Safety at seed works is as important as it is with its external stakeholders too.
SeedWorks Cotton Supply team -Gujarat conducted a training programme for grower farmers on the responsible use of pesticides and container management. The growers welcomed and appreciated the initiatives and are ready for driving the change. It is one of our change initiatives as part of Good seed and plant practices (GSPP)
