SeedWorks at IIM Nagpur – Session by MD & CEO – Mr Venkatram Vasantavada
SeedWorks International MD & CEO, Mr Venkatram Vasantavada spoke about the Role of Youth in Modern Agri-Businesses at IIM Nagpur on 9th October 2019. Addressing a large student gathering, Mr Venkatram highlighted the scale, complexities, challenges and opportunities in the Indian Agriculture. He highlighted that agriculture needs to be developed in line with the requirements of the 21st century in view of the increasing population and urbanization. He also spoke about how Agri sector is getting disrupted by Technology and soon be a high-tech industry. He called attention of 120+ students present on importance of right seed in the farming and the case of spurious seeds in the Indian Seed Markets. The students appreciated the efforts of SeedWorks to provide superior seed solutions to farmers and expressed their interest to contribute to the sector.
Mr Pulkit Mittal, General Manager – Digital Transformation apprised students about the fast adoption of technology in the business through its 3A (Analytics, Artificial Intelligence & Algorithms) approach.
SeedWorks International held Group Discussions and Interviews at the Campus for its flagship summer internship program – UDGAM 2020. Students will come to SeedWorks Head Office in April 2020 for their 2 months internship to work on business-critical projects.
