SeedWorks Head of Digital Transformation – Mr Pulkit Mittal speaks in Symbinar at SIBM Hyderabad
As part of the live webinar series – Symbinar by SIBM Hyderabad, Mr. Pulkit Mittal, General Manager- Digital Transformation at SeedWorks International Pvt. Ltd. spoke on ‘The Impact of COVID-19 on Agribusinesses and its future outlook’. He began by introducing the students with the term Agriculture and what the rising concerns for the population are. An idea about the performance of the Food-Agri business companies was also put forth by him. Talking about the impact of COVID-19 on the industry, the students learnt that agri-business is facing relatively less disruption as compared to other industries such as financial services, etc. The use of digital technology and labour shortage was also talked about extensively.
Mr. Mittal also emphasized on his 3R approach of Resilience, Reimagination and Reimagination and Reform as the key points to bear in mind as part of the future outlook. He has also highlighted the importance of understanding the regulatory changes, business continuity plan, consolidation and precision application as the key focus areas for the future. He then briefed about how SeedWorks International is working in these harsh times, and described several initiatives the company taken to tackle it, in terms of digital transformation, cause-based campaigns, following contact-less business processes / mechanisms and many others.
The session was followed by a Q&A session where students came up with their queries and displayed their keen interest in the topic.
